the long side with its linked short songs is the best thing the beatles ever produced

something and here comes the sun two of the best harrison songs ever recorded

my favourite beatle album to gether with the magical mystery tour

Although its hard to name a favourite Beatle album, Abbey Road would have to be the one. In my estimation their best song of all time is here...Here Comes the Sun. George's other near equal Something is on the album too. Basically the whole second side is wonderful. I also like the way the always clever Beatles named a song with an exclamation mark in an odd spot...Oh! Darling. One more nugget...the cool, laid back guitar solo in I Want You.
10/10 Bruce Beatlefan (July 21, 2005)
My all-time favorite album by the Beatles--or anyone else. All four are in absolute top form creatively and in their performances. George Harrison deserves special mention not only for two of his finest songs but for the guitar work making the side-two medley work so well. John's "Because" is a seminal masterpiece...immediately followed by Paul's "You Never Give Me Your Money" which might even be better. Every track on this album can have pages written about their delights...I do not agree with the disparaging comments often made about "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and "Octopus's Garden". "Oh Darling" is the greatest vocal in Paul's career next to "Long Tall Sally". "The End" is the perfect coda for the Fab Four...all I can say in response is "Love you, love you, love you, love you..."

Octopus's Garden is Ringo Starr's best song.
