Smile Away

Average song rating Another count in leads to a classic rocker. Silly lyrics, but I do like them. The guitar solo by Hugh McCracken could be an example to Paul. The background vocals begin to annoy me after a while. The same goes for the fuzz on the bass. The song gets a new life for me at 2.45, when the bass starts pumping into the high notes and the background vocals change their pattern. Another effective guitar solo like it should be done. Average song rating Fun rocker which makes you wonder if this is Paul's response to music reviewers who are already starting to make stinging comments about Paul's solo career. Bruce Beatlefan March 11, 2006

Lyrics

I was walking down the street the other day
Who did I meet
I met a friend of mine and he did say
Man I can smell your feet a mile away

Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away

Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away

I was walking down the street the other day
Who did I meet
I met a friend of mine and he did say
Man I can smell your breath a mile away

Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away

Who did I meet
I met a friend of mine and he did say
Man I can smell your teeth a mile away

Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
