Summer's Day Song

Average song rating Yawn. Paul brings another ballad, but this one is pretty boring. The keyboards songs like a church organ here and there and that does not really add to a lovely atmosphere. The electronics fail to create a balladish thing. Paul's harmonies with a lot of reverb (around 2.30) sound like a boys choir as well. Not my piece of cake. Bobber June 11, 2012
Average song rating A pretty melody amidst scores of pretty McCartney melodies in his nearly fifty years of songwriting--but is there any song in his library that truly sounds like this one? Think about it. Bruce Beatlefan June 23, 2006

Lyrics

Someone's sleeping through a bad dream,
Tomorrow it will be over,
For the world will soon be waking to a summer's day.

Someone's sleeping through a bad dream,
Tomorrow it will be over,
For the world will soon be waking to a summer's day.
