By this time I'm sure Beatle fans were wondering if "Don't Bother Me" was just an aberration. George Harrison was in real danger at this point of the Beatles' progression of being a non-entity, being given a single track per album of a lesser Lennon/McCartney ("I'm Happy Just to Dance With You") or a standard ("Everybody's Trying to be My Baby").
