Well...(Baby Please Don't Go)

Average song rating The last four songs were recorded live at the Fillmore East in New York City with Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention on 6 June 1971. Musically alright –a great guitar solo for instance-, but there’s Yoko once again. Ruining the complete recording. Didn’t anybody ever tell her that the thing she does is just simply awful? A good tune, well played, a pity Yoko’s audible. Bobber September 11, 2013
Average song rating A good live performance disastrously undermined by Yoko's manic wails. Performances like this, and the earlier "Unfinished" albums, caused a whole lot of people to write off Yoko Ono completely as wall-to-wall kook. But, she has the soul of a true artist, and when she learned some of the do's and dont's of pop music, she wrote some damn fine songs eventually. Bruce Beatlefan March 25, 2006

Lyrics

You know i love you, baby, please don't go, well, well;
you know i love you, baby, please don't go, well, well,
you know i love you, honey child,
there's nothing that i wouldn't do for you at night.
You know i love you, baby, please don't go, well.

You know i love you, baby, please don't go;
you know i love you, baby, please don't go, uh -
you know i love you, honey child,
there's nothing that i wouldn't do for you at night.
You know i love you, baby, please don't go, well.

Zappa!

You know i want you, baby, please don't go, well, well;
you know i want you, baby, please don't go,
you know i love you, honey child,
there's nothing that i wouldn't do for you right now.
You know i want you, baby, please don't go, well.

Well, you know i love you, baby, please don't go, well;
you know i love you, baby, please don't go,
you know i love you, honey child,
nothing that i wouldn't do for you right now.
I know i love you, baby, please don't go, well, well.

Hey!
