The series includes opera libretti by Wagner, Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, and other major composers.
Being a passionate opera listener for many years, I was always curious about the exact meaning of what is sung on stage. I began collecting libretti and translations, formatting them side-by-side and printing them for my own use while listening to recordings.
This personal project gradually evolved into DM’s Opera Series. The first volume was published on Amazon in 2024, and the collection continues to grow with new titles covering many of the world’s most beloved operas.
Languages in the Series
The DM’s Opera Series currently includes libretti in several original languages with English translations:
- German–English — Wagner and Mozart operas
- Italian–English — Verdi, Puccini, and Donizetti operas
- French–English — Bizet and other French works
Each edition prints the original libretto and the English translation on facing pages, making it easy to follow the text while listening to a recording or attending a performance.
