all i can say is this is rock.

This is as mean as the velvets got ever, expanding Banana's European son to a whole album, although there's an 'island of rest' -Lady Godiva/Here she comes now-, i would've digged it even more if there was more noise. The grooviest thing i guess is that it sounds like being recorded in one afternoon - just let the tapes roll.. even though i know it's Reed's style to only make it SOUND like that, i don't give a shit. My theory is, they got sick of the mass attention after their first album release, and wanted to scare some glitter people away.
