10/10 Luis Farmer (April 1, 2005)
I´ve been listening to the mix that was released in the Box Set, a few years ago, the so called "Closet mix" and it sounds like a totally new album.

The Velvet are special (among other things) in that they only did masterpiece albums! This "new" mix respects Lou Reed's original intentions and comes to prove what they said in interviews: that after John Cale's departure the band was no less agressive and abrasive.

The lyrics, now song almost all by Lou Reed, gain a new edge to them and show their real "inspiration", which is exactly the same of the previous two records. A monster of an album!!!!

If you know this album you can review it.
