Rockestra Theme

Average song rating Side b opens with the more or less instrumental Rockestra Theme. Personally I have never been fond of Pauls instrumental work, but this is a good job. Why haven't I had any dinner? The minimal lyrics would have made critics wonder what was meant by this in 1967, when John wrote I Am The Walrus. In 1979 it doesn't mean anything. Nevertheless, a good kick off for the b-side. Bobber May 18, 2012
Average song rating Well now why haven't I had any dinner. If this was a Beatle song from around 1967, millions would be speculating what Paul really meant by this statement. Is he responding to John Lennon's instrumental chant, "Beef Jerky, Beef Jerky, Beef Jerky"? Did perhaps Linda boycott cooking meals for Paul after he embarrassed her by the "Cook of the House" song? Maybe Paul hasn't had any dinner because...Paul is dead!!! Bruce Beatlefan March 29, 2006
