On the Way

Average song rating The first thing I noticed was the enormous amount of delay and reverb on Pauls voice. Terrible. Drumming is not very fluent again, to put it diplomatically. Lead guitar sounds okay. Bass doesn't do any special things. Comes close to much of the McCartney I-album, the song sounds like a leftleftleftover from ten years ago. A certain skip. Average song rating Quite a good song, written with pretty much the same message as John Lennon's "Jealous Guy". This song and the next are really the only ones on the CD that have any kind of message at all. Bruce Beatlefan June 10, 2006

Lyrics

One, two, one, two, three and a four now.

Well, you know I'll always love you,
But it would have been a lie
If I said that I could please you,
Ev'ry moment that I try.

Wouldn't want to see you crying,
So I hope you don't mind the things I say on the way.

Well, we've been trav'ling for a long time,
And we finally finished here.
Though I said some things to hurt you,
But it was only out of fear.

Wouldn't want to see you crying,
So I hope you don't mind the things I say on the way.

Well, you know I'll always love you,
Ev'rything will be alright
If I know you don't mind the things I say on the way.

If I know you don't mind the things I say on the way.

Well, you know I'll always love you,
Ev'rything will be okay
If I know you don't mind the things I say on the way.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
