Side-by-side libretti paperback
Being a huge opera fan for over 15 years, I have always been fascinated by what is sung in each opera. I found the libretti, located translations in different languages, formatted side-by-side translations, and printed them at home. This way, while sitting on the couch and listening to an opera, I could read the libretto and instantly see the translation. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
This is how DM’s Opera Series was born. What began as a personal project grew into a published collection. In the summer of 2024, I released the first volume on Amazon. Since then, the series has expanded to 22 volumes, each presenting a complete libretto with a clear side-by-side English translation of some of the world’s most popular operas. The collection continues to grow, with new titles being added regularly.
The paperback edition of Das Rheingold: German–English Side-by-Side Opera Libretto reached No. 1 in Amazon’s “Opera & Classical Songbooks” New Releases category in February 2026.
If you buy a book on Amazon, I would really appreciate it if you could leave a rating or a short review. It helps other opera lovers discover the series, and it also helps me understand what you liked (or what could be improved). Your feedback truly supports this project and helps it grow.
Designed for clarity, study, and performance use.
