4/10 B.Wind (August 10, 2004)
Very experimental -- and Roy Wood realized that he would stand in the way of ELO's development... so he did the shrewd thing and left to form Wizzard. You can easily tell the difference between Wood's production and Lynne's: Wood's is often muddy-sounding and dominated by cellos; Lynne's is sonically pure and driven mainly by electronics.

For the most part, listening to this LP/CD is an exercise in tedium, particularly Wood's songs (with the exception of "Look at Me Know"). The high points are the underrated "Mr. Radio" and the transcendant "10531 Overture."

The definitive ELO was still a year (and 2 LPs/CDs) away.
